Eurostar Global announce relocation to new 43,000 sq ft headquarters. 12/04/2021
Eurostar Global has signed a 10-year deal with St. Modwen Logistics for a new 43,000 sq ft facility with fit-out contracts being tendered out in the next 4 weeks and works to commence as early as May. Operational staff are scheduled to relocate to the building in Q4 2022.
Located at St Modwen Park Stoke Central within the Ceramic Valley Enterprise Zone, the new unit boasts a 52m yard, 10m haunch height, 2 dock level loading doors, 2 level access loading doors, and enhanced Grade ‘A’ office accommodation. This move comes as a result of year-on-year growth for Eurostar Global and to manage ambitious growth plans that the business has in place.
Currently the business employs 60 people at its existing sites in Newcastle-under-Lyme and over the next three-years, this new facility provides significant additional capacity which is expected to see staffing numbers climb to over 100. This additional space will allow the business to expand its portfolio of products, vendors and provide a suite of new fulfilment and service offerings.
Peter Carnall, Managing Director at Eurostar Global, comments “Despite challenges faced across the economy during the last 12 months with both the Covid pandemic and the UK’s exit from the European Union, Eurostar has continued to deliver for its vendors and customers. Having outgrown our existing facility, the business has solid growth opportunities and plans in place that will see this increased space enable a vibrant and diverse cross-section of incremental revenue streams.”
Brett Watmough, Sales and Purchasing Director, comments “This move is spurred on by our 20% growth in the last year, our 4th year in a row of double-digit growth. Due to the focus and unrivalled service levels of our outstanding team of people and our industry-leading stock management system, we have unprecedented demand for our products and services from vendors, airtime resellers, MNOs, MNVOs and large retailers. The move to this new facility will allow us to deliver for these partners.”
Stuart Murray, Development Director at St. Modwen Logistics, said: “St. Modwen Park Stoke Central is a key site for suppliers and distributors in North Staffordshire. We’re pleased to have let C43 to Eurostar Global Electronics, particularly during the uncertainty of a global pandemic, providing the company with a high quality industrial and logistics solution that suits its needs.”
